David Baelde commented on LS-533:
---------------------------------

For the directory, this seems fine to me as well. In fact I wouldn't mind if
there was no subdirectory.

Concerning --dynamic-plugins-dir it occurs to me that --plugins-dir was not
necessarily confusing: some plugins may be compiled into liquidsoap, some may
be taken from that directory. However, the doc doesn't say if all plugins will
be loaded from the directory, or if they have to be mentioned explicitly one by
one.

>
> I should have seen it before: we now have a name clash with plugins:
> --list-plugins-xml
> List all plugins (builtin scripting values, supported formats and
> protocols), output as XML.
> --list-plugins
> List all plugins (builtin scripting values, supported formats and
> protocols).
> --plugins-dir
> Directory where to look for plugins.
> I am in favour of renaming the first two to --list-operators(..) or
> --list-whatheveryouthinkisnice. I think plugins should now be reserved for..
> plugins :)
