Romain Beauxis commented on LS-527: ----------------------------------- Hey, Thanks for the heads up. I've been thinking about the patch and it is incorrect as it is. What needs to happen -- and should be reasonable I think, is that once a source fails to initialize during the startup phase, all source that have been woken up before should be put to sleep. As it is now, the patch puts to sleep all sources, regardless of their activation. Would such a change seem sensible to you? Btw, one change for the long run we could think of is having at least self#sleep to be idempotent. That usually simplifies the code a lot... > Exception raised + input.alsa -> freeze > --------------------------------------- > > Key: LS-527 > URL: http://dev.sourcefabric.org/browse/LS-527 > Project: Liquidsoap > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Liquidsoap > Reporter: Samuel Mimram > Assignee: Romain Beauxis > Priority: Blocker > > From the ML: > While I was tweaking the "dynamic sources" script, I have discovered > that (I guess) using an non-available port to connect to the streaming > server is freezing the liquidsoap process.
