Ok, thanks David for this.
It was also possible to activate it only for network socket and not for
Unix socket, but I now think it is not good for the server protocol.
The no delay option removes TCP batch delivery, meaning that packet are
sent immediatly instead of waiting for a batch of packets.
Indeed, this has been reported *not* to be good for protocols that send
small amounts of data, like SSH [http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail
/freebsd-current/2004-June/028639.html 1]. Hence, this is not a good
option for the server protocol.
However, I let it for the Harbor since the protocol needs the minimal
latency at a regular rate. No delay is good I believe there.
