Some files seem to be missing from the patch you provided (you only modify
float_pcm.ml[i]).
Another option to reduce memory usage would be to store data on the disk,
which would be much nicer in my opinion. We should also start thinking of
a typing system to handle various data formats for streams to handle
cleanly int PCM streams for example.
