Changes (by mrpingouin):
* summary: Add an operator to insert track durations in metadata => File
duration
Comment:
About the initial ticket, a quick thought: an operator is not a good idea
because of the long time that the computation might take. Instead, we
should document how to put the duration in the metadata using a protocol,
it's easy to script this.
Now about my bug. I tried {{{liquidsoap -r duration.ogg}}} with the file
{{{http://dolebrai.net/~dbaelde/duration.ogg}} (it's free/libre musique)
on two extra fresh builds, and got the same output except for the last
line. On dolebrai.net we have libvorbis 1.1.2 and I get {{{Computing
duration: 355.74 sec.}}} but on my machine I have libvorbis 1.2.0 and I
obtain {{{inf sec}}}. (Note that in both cases the computation is fast.)
I'm pointing the difference in vorbis versions since it's the only
relevant thing that I can imagine, but I haven't anything solid here. In
particular I couldn't find any related bug report.
