 Hi. I suggest that we move this discussion into a design note in
 {{{http://savonet.rastageeks.org/wiki/Future}}} (there's currently a dead
 link for the server interface). We should list all needs and discuss
 drafts, if possible with users.

 Personally, I don't think that the server commands need a type system as
 complex as Lang. For example, we never want to return a function
 (serialize it to JSON). For an integration with the scripting language,
 e.g. needed for user-defined commands, it is true that having the same
 type language (and type inference) would help... perhaps a subset of types
 specified as a constraint (like our "either int or float", "printable
 type", etc).
