Trac is not really the proper place to discuss this but anyway..
We have tested and added in the cookbook a solution to what you want to
do. You should look at the code there:
http://savonet.sourceforge.net/doc-svn/scripts/manual_dump.html
It does what you want to do and it is the recommended way of doing it :)
