Hi, It's kind of a weird bug. From all I've heard from you, it seems like liquidsoap (or some other process related to it) is consuming a lot of memory, and may be killed (oomkilled) by the kernel because of that. That huge consumption is not normal, clearly.
I haven't run your script but seeing how simple it is I doubt that it will fail on my setup. I should try later but I'm very busy until next tuesday. I'd look for something special that would go wrong, perhaps some corrupted file that would make liquidsoap crazy, I don't know... (Can you reproduce without playlists but just one audio file? Can you reproduce with an output.dummy? with a dummy (or file) output you can accelerate the streaming setting root.sync to false and reproduce the crash faster btw) By the way, I think that you're script is an interesting unusual example of liquidsoap usage. Could be a good one for our documentation at some point, when it works better :p Let's keep digging, we'll find out that issue.
