Hi, I'm quite sure that Balbinus already successfully played with 5 channel vorbis files. The trick is that some operators are still designed for stereo only, although we tried to fix them all. If you find something that doesn't work, please report it. But beware that this isn't an user-friendly world, liquidsoap might crash violently without any explaination.
In the future, we plan to attach channel/content-type information to each source, which will enforce a clean treatment everywhere.
