Hello, I and Julien worked for HD3D, a french company building collaborative tools for FX and movie industry.
We would like to use Savonet for building a multi-platform audio editor. The final code (java) will be given to the savonet project. The editor would be used by the french movie industry to ensure conformity during servicing step. Before chosing Savonet, we have some pre-requisites : * Savonet should be multi-platform ; * Multichannel audio (like 5.1) is not well handled, all channels should be filled to set a multi-channel output : if I output six tracks, I have to input six tracks, I can't give only 4 and tell Savonet that the other ones are blank. * Operators should work for multichannel edition. Do you think that adding these features is easy to do ? Do you think that Savonet project developpers could implement it ? I know you are not paid to do this, but these features would benefit a lot to your project too. Moreover, HD3D will try (we don't know OCAML) to provide new features to savonet project like upmix, dowmix...
