Is it possible to switch the audio input from the soundcard (using OSS) to a playlist or single MP3 file for a short period of time? Ideally I'd like to be able to switch the input source using telnet.
I've been playing with the switch function but it doesn't seem to work with this setup because input.oss never ends. Furthermore I don't see any obvious way of switching the sources in telnet. Am I missing something or is this currently possible?
