Before, you had a playlist with a crossfade on top of it, which merged
the tracks of the playlist. Then you put it in a track sensitive
fallback with special announces (dedicace). But it could never switch
to the announces, because the track never ended.

A solution is like this: crossfade(fallback([dedicace,playlist])). It
merges the tracks after the choice between normal tracks and
announces.

If you're still unhappy with it, i.e. you don't want the same
crossfade between two tracks of the playlist and other cases, then you
need to hack the crossfade operator to take into account metadata that
tells from which source the track comes from.
