Wow thanks, I'll keep an eye on the commits. Well, actually I use a lot from utils.liq, I will rewrite the functions I need, output.icecast.{mp3,vorbis}, input.alsa I will wait that it is fixed, I just became father so my time is very very limited. I'm very quick into implementing radio with liquidsoap but I'd rather spent my time doing that than poking around with your (awesome) code...sorry guys :( I can be a very good beta tester :D >> is it possible to know in the ml when the sdl code will be fixed or >> worked on? > > Ok we'll warn you on the mailing list. Well...I wanted to build a sdl interface that could run in framebuffer directly with liquidsoap, I suppose at this stage I could use pygame but I whould have liked to keep using the same code/tool/api... About using sdl for video encoding well I suppose you want to "inject" effects in the video and/or manipulate it right? Whould be nice to have something like "writeonsstream" something like "say" but that can read the metadata and put it as a subtitle. Maybe, and I say maybe, you want to look at tbt http://tbt.dyne.org/ to have realtime text on the screen(and possibility to record it and replay the text from a tbt file) > >> wich version of libdirac I need to compile the support? seems that >> jaunty version of libdirac is not recognized(maybe is old) > > Didn't try that yet, but in any case our dirac support is not yet back. Today I managed to compile and turn dirac support on, not that it matters so much, just to say that it recognize my libs :) > Cheers, > -- > David Ciao fruity ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
