I am that guy that commented on the PKGBUILD. There is a aur-package which does not need to add a user-account to make-install liquidsoap into the fakeroot. (But it seems to use the root user for something in the make options) liquidsoap-full: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=33225
