You should describe more precisely what your hiss looks like (or better
provide a sample). Does it sound like white noise or sine or whatever? At
high or low frequency? etc.
For example, if your noise is at high frequency, then you can try to remove
high frequencies of your sound using a low-pass filter, e.g.
c = filter(freq=5000.,q=1.,mode="low",c)
The freq parameter is the frequency above which the sound will be lowered
and q is the sharpness of the filter. To get good results you should really
play with those parameters.
There are more advanced and precise filters available in Liquidsoap but
really it depends on what you want to do exactly and is a complicated
matter. But you should be able to get a good starting point with the
"filter" operator as described above.
