Hmmm... Something might have gone wrong when your OS and debian/ubuntu
switched to multi-arch. Anyhow. have you tried to use the
--with-ladspa-dir configure option? Something like:
  ./configure --with-ladspa-dir=/usr/lib64/ocaml/ladspa
