Hi Brandon, Sorry for the late response, I was pretty busy the past couple of days.
2012/1/23 Brandon Olivares <[email protected]>: > For now, I converted the m4a's to mp3, and will just use those. I will > refrain from using m4a for now. > > But it seems this problem should be fixed, so it doesn't crash like that. It is good that you found a work-around. Keep it in place while we fix this issue.. Your problem seems to be a segfault in the ocaml-faad binding, very likely some kind of memory corruption -- which is why you see the issue _after_ the file is played, b/c the bug is triggered by the garbage collector. It would be very nice if you could fill-up a ticket in our bug tracker there: http://dev.sourcefabric.org/browse/LS Please include a description of the issue, the backtraces you have been able to grab (thanks for that!!) and, if possible, a minimalist script that we could use to try to reproduce. If you cannot attach a test track b/c of some copyright, please feel free to send one off-list to my address for instance. Thanks for your patience, hopefully we'll get this fixed soon!
