So, to re-queue is the only solution? That's basically what i'm doing now. 

I don't even need to check ".metadata", as i have all the data i need on the 
GUI (in a Qt's QListWidget).

Isn't there any way to let a playlist playing, add and remove tracks on demand 
(as "equeue" lets me do), and just tell the playlist to go one item backwards 
(instead of foward, as the skip command)?

Via the telnet interface, you can access

OUTPUTNAME.metadata

which will give (by default) details for the last ten tracks - which you
can then re-queue.
