At some point I remember trying to bind ffmpeg and this library is

good quality plugin, whereas the gstreamer guys already have taken
care of everything.... I have just committed an experimental plugin to
play wmv files using gstreamer in the "gstreamer" branch. It would be
nice if you could give me a hand on this... ;) It seems that we could
have something working quite soon...
