Hi!

I have set up Liquidsoap as a source to Icecast. My music files are in
Opus and they are transcoded by Liquidsoap to Opus. Is it possible to
avoid this re-encoding process and preserve quality?

I'm thinking about pre-encoding my music into, lets say, Opus 100
kbit/s and then also stream it as Opus 100 kbit/s. This will save
storage space, but isn't there a risk that this degrades the quality?

What's the recommended procedure to avoid quality loss?
