Taking a quick glance at Debian's and Ubuntu's packages list for liquidsoap I cannot see any liquidsoap module that is missing in Debian: https://packages.debian.org/search?suite=jessie&keywords=liquidsoap http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?suite=xenial&keywords=liquidsoap All package versions from Debian and Ubuntu are the same. The Ubuntu packages for liquidsoap are part of the "universe" repository. This indicates that Ubuntu has no specific interest in liquidsoap and just redistributes the original Debian packaging. This is reasonable and just what I expected for this very specific type of program. If there should be any reproducable problem specific with the Debian package (and not Ubuntu's package), then the Debian maintainers would surely be very grateful for a bug report. Cheers, Lars PS: just in case it was not obvious: I am a happy liquidsoap user running this fine software on Debian servers. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Find and fix application performance issues faster with Applications Manager Applications Manager provides deep performance insights into multiple tiers of your business applications.
