No, I do not think so. My concern was not possibly some extra files, as they are not doing any real harm, but if installer is "getting smart" and installs some things conditionally depending on a compilation environment. If this happens to be the case (and I did not check if this is so) then corresponding files should appear conditionally in specs. > sawfish-gnome.rpm > - GNOME desktop file only, nothing else Such split will not help you if some files were not created but if this is not the case, which I was not really trying to check, I would forget about it.
