Might I put in a second on the Pedigree, German shepherd breeders here and in Germany often feed it to help with notorious GSD shedding. The reason being, primarily, it is so high in fats. Also shepherds very often have skin issues, extremely dry skin, allergies, contact dermititis issues etc. Pedigree seems to help for some dogs.
