Greetings to those assembled from eawfst Hlaford (HL) Randwulf t
Blacwulveslea, Site Huntsman of Toys for Tots.

Today we had coursing at Toys for Tots at Brandon Camp Rotary.

Two hounds were in attendance: Desert Drum (Greyhound) and China (Rhodesian
Ridgeback Lurcher.)

Roughly a dozen gentles watched. Between 100 and 150 people were at the event.

The course was roughly triangle shaped and was 250 paces (about 150 meters.)
(Note: This measurement is an estimate based on Randwulf's pace count of 60
paces equals 100 meters.) There were four circuits for each hound; the course
ran clockwise for the first two circuits and counter-clockwise for the last
two. The hounds could not run together due to breed differences.

There were no injuries, other than line rubs, to either hound.

Item of note: The line broke at least seven times during the coursing, once
without a hound on the course. It was determined that the current line had too
many knots and was possibly too old. All of the line from the storage spool
was thrown away after the coursing. The backup line will be wound onto the
spool before the next coursing at Hero of the Chalice (New Year's weekend.)

In service to the hounds,
