It would be wonderful--but alas there is that attitude that "mine be
more 'authentik' "<G> that seems to be an issue. Maybe a local
incident has caused a need to control how many dogs turn up?? And
limiting breeds is the path chosen. Instead of limited (by numbers)
entries and a behavior standard (and NO I'm NOT going there
again!!!)....

A question--can ANY modern breed be a true representative of one from
oh say 1483??? Especially those that have been bred for generations
to a beauty standard?? Or a work standard that is different now from
that of 1483??? Form following function and all that??

So why not go with The Dream and be inclusive--you might just gain
more attendees and have more fun!

If they course cleanly run em in braces or trios on a long enough
course to be safe and run em in singles if they don't run well with
others!

I would love to see more livestock of any type at events! But then I
think actually doing stuff is waaay more fun than anything else at
events!

Flame Away!!!

Ta
Carol--off to work out the final bits on the Gothic Fitted Dress
lining--the Winter Wool Sales approach!!
