Rowan, the best suggestion I have is to crate Wizard in a room away from 
sight of your backyard. I'd put him in there before you even start getting 
things ready to course, and give him a kong, pig's ear, or other nice treat 
to work on. I'd also turn on a radio fairly loud so he couldn't hear the 
machine.

Make sure that he gets some "special" time, too....maybe a nice long walk, 
just you and him.
