half course, starting them at the mid point.  I know that Corin's Whitney
has done this at GW.

Tis true, we did this with her, but then she wanted to keep going.  I now
just let her supervise us reeling in the line after the course is done.
That way I can control the speed and she seems perfectly happy just to lope
along following the string.  She does like to help me make sure I don't miss
any of the pulleys in the field.  :).

This brings up another point of fact on why I am so hooked on the hand crank
units.  They are very good for helping keep the hounds in shape and also
letting me control the speed better for my older hounds.  Not to mention I
don't have to worry about the battery going down..hehehe..
