Lady Caitrin,
The ezup tent has proven to be the best for my kids. Its staked into the
ground, and the four polls provide support for the Xpen, the top
provides shade. My EZUP also has side-walls that velcro on, so if the
sun is shining too much on one side, I velcro up a side and shade them.
Pandora and Charlie are Afghan Hounds, but I know they don't course. If
I let Pandora loose, I'd never see her again (puppy mill Affie) and all
would not like me for the havoc she would unleash.
My biggest problem would be that I don't have near enough garb for the
week. I am planning on ordering a salwar kameez, so I would have just
two period clothing sets... is it considered too un-posh to not wear
period clothing that week?
I wish I could go ahead and buy my "dog trailer" now... but I am still
researching for the right one. I've decided to buy a "motorcycle hauler"
by Sportsmans' Travel Trailers. I originally wanted a 30', but I think
that will be too long for most dog show sites... so now looking for a
24' - 26'... Full living quarters are up front, with bathroom/shower,
kitchen, etc... then a door leading to the back where motorcycles are
hauled... of course there will be no bikes, but rather crates, xpens,
and hound gear! I can't wait to get one, and just attatch my fencing to
the trailer itself so they can have a large fenced in yard... but if I'm
goign to invest $10K+ in a travel trailer, I'm going to make SURE it is
the right one for my needs first.
