*Grins*... I read the grin, Jennifer -- and I have one too. I think it's a
sign of health in a 'luki person to take oneself and all the info with a
grain of salt... lol. Though my gold-grizzle has puffball ears, so I have to
formally toss the gauntlet in in favor of her cute little half-feathered ears.

What I prefer is the ME standard which is feathering that starts from the top
and ends wherever, no matter how long... but that's just me. We just had a
big discussion over rose-ears on another list too. The Saluki standard is
really very broad!!!

Though I have a guilty admission to make. I screwed up my Anoush's hair
this morning -- she had a matt she developed overnight and I tried combing
with
3 different types of combs/products. It was not coming out. I had to cut
it, botched it, and then decided I could fix it. I will not report the end
results save to say I have one pissed off pooch and had to leave her at home
when we went to the dog show. They say dogs are dogs and don't know any
better.
I am convinced that this dog knows I put her a show behind in titles.

I'm in the dog house tonight, and will never again believe anyone who says
Saluki show grooming is easy! LOL!
