It is possible to go through the list of members for the old list and do what's called a "direct add" for them onto the new list. However, I can only "direct add" 10 members a day. There are about 170 members on the old list, but about 40 are bouncing and 40 people have joined the new list, leaving around 90 people who still need to be added. So it would take 9 or 10 days to complete that task. There are a couple complications to it as well, but I won't get into it.
I have changed the link from the SCA Coursing website. I know of one other location that it is listed and I will ask the owner of that site to change it as well. In the meantime, we will just have to take people as they come. If anyone has any trouble signing on, I will be happy to assist them. As and additional enticement, I have put three new files and over 30 links in the links section of the SCA Hound Coursing listserv website, most of which you can't find on the old list. As I get more, that's were they will be added. If anyone would like to donate their class handouts, I would be happy to take them. Last, but not least, Lady Catrin, I would like to thank you for your service as moderator of the first list. I want it to be understood by all that the move to the new list should in no way reflect on Lady Catrin. The SCA Coursing community has grown greatly in the last few years and, unfortunately, beyond the bounds of the old list. In a way this is actually a good thing. I hope our growth continues, and more people and Kingdoms join us. Vivat the Hounds!
