Please,
Calm Thyselves. Leap not to conclusions prior to knowing circumstances. You
may be correct in your surmissions, but there is no reason to act peevish. This
person is at least trying to line up homes for the pups rather than destroying
them out of hand, sending them to a kill shelter, or dumping them by the side
of the road.
Lady Aria, that the queen mother would part with her grandpups earlier than
you deem responsible is immaterial to the current issue of finding them a home.
A less than properly socialized grey pup (based on your standards) is better
than one which gets sent to an animal research lab, regardless of circumstance.
The notice hit both this list and the other coursing list. Given the e-mail
addy, they hit the yahoogroups first or joined in order to get the word out.
Yes there are irresponsible breeders out there. But let us deal with fact
rather than supposition.
If these pups go to list members, it is likely a good happenstance. There
are those who have just lost hounds who might see this as providence, or
serendipity. Yes, greyhound puppies are as crazy as weimeraner (sic) pups, but
I loved mine all the same even when he learned to open gates, ate concrete and
nested in the couch.
