In the process of hardening the ec2 instances, we are thinking of disabling the PasswordAuthentication for ssh access. Will this cause any problem with scalr?
I am asking this because, after i did this, my scalr is unable to do a complete syncronization. While it gets the message saying the bundle is completed, it never moves forward. It doesnt launch the new instance, and it doesnt shutdown the current instance. Also, if i bring up the same role manually, it boots up with the old image, and not the newly created ami. I am not sure if this is related, but any help would be great. We are using our own scalr setup, using RC2.
