I've trolled through here and seen bits and pieces however does anyone know and/or can point me toward a thorough explanation of EBS implementation within the scalr environment? Another way to put this is I want to ensure that I do not loose mysql data on a possible instance drop, etc. and would love a cookbook type of explanation. Not really looking for a shortcut but the docs on amazon explain it one way and there seems to be a bit of voodoo within the scalr env to accomplish this type of setup. Perhaps it is just as easy as educating me on the terminology within the dashborad as the screencast appears out of date and the FAQ is woefully inadequate. Don't get me wrong and am not bashing as we signed up for the service because we believe in the premise and service but I just would like to have a more thorough understanding of the environment without have to do the play with it and see approach :)
thanks in advance for any assistance, ken; --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "scalr-discuss" group.
