I also disliked that when we tried to call Intridea to inform you guys
of the urgent problem, your phone system just hung up on us and nobody
answered the phone.

It's extremely frustrating to not have some kind of modicum of
emergency support/contact available.

Further it would be handy if SCALR actually maintained your own
twitter account for outages announcements.  Intridea's was entirely
unhelpful.

I found this whole experience unnerving, because my hands were tied,
and I couldn't raise anybody and get some kind of positive
confirmation that a resolution was in the works.  We ended up using
Elastic fox and creating some records on our primary dns (outside of
scalr) to restore some connectivity to our production cluster for our
customers.  We are also immediately setting up our own secondary dns
zones for each of our farms.
