upon more investigation it appears ns3.scalr.net may have had an IP address change?
from 67.202.32.243 to 72.44.36.121 ? When did this change? Why isn't the correct value being propagated? Did I miss the announcement? Our DNS providers don't allow us to use hostnames for ns masters, they only accept IP's. It's imperative that we be notified when any of the scalr nameservers change IPs. > server ns1.scalr.net Default server: ns1.scalr.net Address: 174.132.108.66#53 > ns3.scalr.net Server: ns1.scalr.net Address: 174.132.108.66#53 Name: ns3.scalr.net Address: 72.44.36.121 > server ns2.scalr.net Default server: ns2.scalr.net Address: 174.132.97.130#53 > ns3.scalr.net Server: ns2.scalr.net Address: 174.132.97.130#53 Name: ns3.scalr.net Address: 72.44.36.121 > server 130.150.102.100 Default server: 130.150.102.100 Address: 130.150.102.100#53 > ns3.scalr.net Server: 130.150.102.100 Address: 130.150.102.100#53 Non-authoritative answer: Name: ns3.scalr.net Address: 67.202.32.243 > server 4.2.2.2 Default server: 4.2.2.2 Address: 4.2.2.2#53 > ns3.scalr.net Server: 4.2.2.2 Address: 4.2.2.2#53 Non-authoritative answer: Name: ns3.scalr.net Address: 67.202.32.243 On Jun 15, 3:08 pm, donnoman <[email protected]> wrote: > ns3.scalr.net > > Still isn't responding to any queries using our application names. > > every application we have that I've tested hasn't worked with > ns3.scalr.net; can you either fix it; or let us know that it is > permanently defunkt and to remove it. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "scalr-discuss" group.
