This is a real BIG issue. We created farm1 custom images. Then we created farm2 custom images using farm1 custom images. We tried to synchronize farm 2 instances and gave different names.
To our great surprise it also renamed all the farm 1 custom DNS and images to the new roles. Could you please investigate? This happens only when we use custom images.
