SSH is configured properly, I tested it with the code attached below. I also have a succesful ssh auth from scalr host in my log files on the dns server. Creating a zone works fine once logged in It really does seem to hang on the rndcstatus() fucntion which should not be problem based on the output of rndc status attached below.
