Since the current model does not allow for users to be assigned or choose a timetable (different buildings with different schedules), can multiple instances of SchoolTool be run on different ports/locations on the same computer? Since SchoolTool installs its own copy of python/zope I am not sure how/where to modify them.

Is the ability to have multiple timetables not really useful at this point since the users can't pick the timetable to use or is there a benefit that I don't see?

Thanks
Tim

Thinking further down the road, what is the relationship between the
timetables and resources? Can I have multiple timetables for different
buildings on SchoolTool so that resources in one building can be tied to
certain timetables? Our schools have different timetables (start/stop,
number of periods, etc).

There is a bit of a gap between what is possible with the data model
and what is supported in the web UI.  Right now, you pick one
site-wide timetable that determines what periods are used in the
calendar views.  For your use case, we'd need to allow users to select
which timetable was used in their calendar view.  That wouldn't be too
hard, especially since we've improved our user preferences code.  On
the other hand, we're not likely to do that as part of the paid
development in the short term.
