I didn't realise that. It would be great to be able to set a (site-wide)
sane default, depending on the school's needs (one simple timetable vs.
irregular, overlapping timetables)!

Yes, I think so.

Many US schools have very random seeming bounaries for

Wow. And I thought it was the Swiss who had the reputation for being
anal about punctuality! ;-)
