Subject: [schooltool] site-wide & calendar-only viewing

[snip]

even with 0.11.0 I'm still having this problem: When the persons permissions are set to "view" and "view calendar" the person can log in but cannot view their own calendar. The only way that they can view their own calendar is if the "edit" box is checked allowing them rights to change the user password.

[snip]

Peter, please, can you elaborate?

At which point should the "edit" box be checked?

I think I'm familiar with the problem you describe (or something similar):
<http://issues.schooltool.org/issue354>
<http://issues.schooltool.org/issue447>

Example (not a production server):
<http://imac04.centrim.freeman-centre.ac.uk/persons/jp/calendar>
password for jp = thecheekofit

TIA for any advice.
