> Hi! > Is it possible to define more than one schedule for a term? For example: > Term: spring2010 > timetable no1: valid from January the 1st to May the 10th > timetable no2: valid from May the 10th to June the 24th > I would not like to start a new 'virtual' term because of attendance > and grades, that have been put in the system for the last 4 months. > > Thank in advance for any help :-) Currently any timetable you assign to a section is always valid for the entire term. We are actually working on this, should be implemented in ~1.5 months. I'd suggest keeping the term, creating another section and applying the different timetable to it. Another way to do that is to create the 'virtual' term. Term dates were not intended to be changed after data is entered within term, so section calendar events may stay after the term is shortened. You can get rid of them by manually deleting undesired events in calendars.
