Yes, is true.
Altough, I suppose that thats DVDs are not other thing that a video with a
PGN as subtitle (or at least, It would be a good idea to make a
ChessDVDPlayer). It would be investigated to learn about the structure of
thats CDs with a software like Gaupol or a DVD ripper.
If this subtitle file be encripted, someone would renderized it in a file of
form of a timeseries. It is not important the data, the important thing is
catch the moments at the moves are played.
For example: If I have a game 1.e4 e5 2.Cf3 Cc6, a subtitle file would be
like
_ _ _ _ _ _ 1.e4_ _ _ _ e5 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _2.Cf3_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ Cc6
where each space is a frame in the video
I am hipoteting that In a encoded format the format would be presented like:
_ _ _ _ _ _ FTY&%_ _ _ _ ()UIRF _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _HV&J_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ IUIU(/
If I know the game played, There are no limitations to reproduce the game
