Well, for a CC games base I could imagine that it makes some sense, 
indeed. Games are slow, one could imagine some sort of "live 
transmission" that way. Chris, is this your intention?

Agree. IMHO the usecase should definitely be clear. For CC it might be 
ok, as mentioned above and I could easily add a wandering D NAG. The 
other area where I think it would be ok is for auto analysis to add the 
D-Nag to the final position. For manual annotations I'm however not so sure.

The question would be if a "autodiagram" function is sensible, running 
over a whole filter and adding diagrams say at any n moves plus the 
final position. German "SchachZeitung e.g. uses such a style in their 
analysis part: They just print out a diagram every two or three full 
moves. They argue, that a player who can't play entirely blindfold or 
isn't that strong in visualisation can actually read the reports without 
a board necessary. (I agree on that reasoning.) So it might be sensible 
if someone want's to publish a Clubs magazine or the like.
