Never do screenshots myself. > Someone who does not know about LaTeX should find it strange that Scid > does not come with a Print function. Printing is this stuff that involves paper, right? ;) Seriously: I played around a bit while ago. For this chess stuff to get a decent looking layout IMHO there is no way around LaTeX. I'll however rework the TeX backend and make it usable for the average user who just installed a "TeX Live". It is on my todo list for quite a while. Not for the next release though. In the end you'll just have a nice PDF and no need to fiddle out what TeX is at all, except that you needed to install this funny thing called TeX Live which needs some bytes on your hard disk. This will be quite close to a print function. > Some comments: > > C1. Perhaps "Copy Position" is a bit unclear. In what respect? It copies the position to the clipboard. > C2. I can't reproduce Alex's solution with "fen <SHIFT-INS>" in one stroke. In FireFox. fen for the shortcut just created for the bookmark, Shift-Ins inserts the current clipboard text. (Is it ctrl-v? I'm used to SAA here.) cu Alexander ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Learn how Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) One Node allows customers to consolidate database storage, standardize their database environment, and, should the need arise, upgrade to a full multi-node Oracle RAC database without downtime or disruption http://p.sf.net/sfu/oracle-sfdevnl _______________________________________________ Scid-users mailing list Scid-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/scid-users
