Hi, 1) Put some non-initial position on the board 2) Open the engine window with a uci engine 3) Start the engine 4) Click the "show analysis board" icon 5) Observe that the analysis board appears but is stuck at the initial position. It should be updated according to the end of the engine's most recent best line.
Rolling back the board position into the initial position makes the engine board run indeed and shows that the updating mechanism itself is still intact. http://scid.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=scid/scid;a=commit;h=cc74b37 is my favorite suspect, but I did not run any tests to verify this.
