hello:
I had been problems with the search position utility. I will try to
reproduce the cause:
1 - Open my personal database "A" and load a game in certain position
2 - Open the reference Database "B". The window moves to the first game of
B. Then, I move back to my loaded game in A.
3 - Go to the move when I want to search the position in games of reference
base "B".
4 - Go to the search position window with Ctrl+Shift+B, check the option
"search in reference database" and select B. I have search exact position
and Ignore filters marked.
5 - execute "Search"
6 - It's located 16 games with their position. I am ready to see these 16
games. Close the search window
7 - The scope of scid has moved again to base B (I am disgusted with this,
because I want to see the 16 games when I need it, may be not now
immediately. But this is not the main that i am describing).
8 - Show the game list with Ctrl+L, but there are no filter, I am seeing
the 1 million games of base B, not the expected 16 games.
I am doing something wrong?
Using: scid 4.3, February 2011 in ubuntu 11.10,(3.0.0-12) 64bits Tk/tcl
version 8.5.10
