Problem solved! In the archive of Scid-Users I found the following
answer, given to one who complained about a problem similar to mine:

You can try moving the scid preferences file to the trash. Go to the
Finder and select the menu "Go > Go to folder..." and type ~/.scid/
config in the window to open Scid's options folder, now move
theoptions.dat file to the trash and open Scid.

It worked!

Thanks to
all, and in particular to Steven.

Can someone explain me what happened, and especially how can I fix it?

All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure
contains a definitive record of customers, application performance,
security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this
data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
