No, i understand the benefits of merging the projects, and i will be 
very happy too if you can consider the idea of working on both the 
projects and in time making them converge. However this is a GPL project 
and you have to respect free software philosophy: Alexander do not have 
the rights to delete the code (nobody have, even the code you don't 
like, i.e. Pascal's code for docking, don't deserve to be deleted for no 
reason).

I will release a Scid v.4.4 with the current git code and eventually the 
fixes for bugs and crashes that will be reported.
I will release a Scid v.4.5 with a new gamelist window
I will release a Scid v.4.6 integrating your engine tournament feature

I hope that this will address the most complicated differences between 
the two projects and i want to be very clear:
i'm not against you taking the lead of the scid project, but you have to 
follow the free software way.
