You are right, but I have excuses here :

- the most important value MultiPV is easily changed in the engine 
window (and the name "Lines" is easily understood)
- the engine "publishes" its parameters and I can't say all engines will 
have for example the MultiPV option. So building dynamically a dialog 
window when you are not sure what you will have to display until the 
engine is run is not at all easy. My bet was that only advanced users 
would change engine parameters (that's why I put "scary isn't it ?" in 
the manual).

I'll try to look at that, but trust me, a dynamic window is not easy to 
manage.

Good idea, TK does not provide such widget, but I saw an add-on on the 
web that could do that.
