Thanks for the quick reply, Pascal. Since there is no "windows_no_setup"
version yet, I can't test it here. I will download and compile the new version
in the next couple of days and let you know if the problem still exists. Note,
that I can import the pgn without errors. The error shows up when I try to
"Save, Replace Game".

Note that it is always possible to make a game that can't be imported
(for example insert a 1 MB comment). This is due to the fact that some
buffers are statically sized. I increased the limits, and I hope this
